A family in Foxrock wanted to replace their ageing oil heating system with a future-ready low-carbon solution that would reduce energy costs, improve comfort, and achieve a premium A-rated home without compromising the character of their 420m² property.
The home included 5 bedrooms, open-plan living spaces, a swimming pool and spa, underfloor heating, radiator circuits, and dedicated office and entertainment areas.
Following a full thermal assessment, GS Renewable designed and installed a bespoke renewable heating solution tailored to the home’s specific demands.
The Challenge
The existing system relied on an inefficient oil boiler, separate hot water cylinders, and limited heating controls, resulting in high running costs, uneven temperatures, and rising maintenance concerns.
The homeowners also wanted a system ready for future technologies such as solar PV and smart energy management.
